Phantasmagoria in Rags: floral jumper

I spent all fall/winter/spring dreaming of summer clothes but now that I've gotten to wear them for two or three months, all I can think about are fall staples: my black riding boots (worn in today's post, that you'll see probably 3/4 of the week all fall and winter), sweaters, tunics, big hats. I've never worn my black boots with a summery outfit before so yesterday I decided to give it a try. I liked the look, but I would like them much better with jeans and long sweaters. Sadly, it probably won't be cool enough to wear them for another two months. Oh---and I thought I had close up photos of my pink-ish bracelet and sunglasses, but appearantly not.

On a brighter note, tomorrow is Thursdays are for Thrifters! I've already got my thrifted finds ready to go, so I hope you do too!

Black Suede Boots: Nine West, $100 (easily the most expensive thing in my wardrobe and definitely the most worn---they are an absolute staple for me in the cooler months).

I wore this outfit yesterday for Two Birds' Inspiration Monday. I have to say, this was one of my favorite inspiration outfits. I've always loved Nicole Richie's style and while this outfit wasn't as '60s/'70s inspired as many of hers are, it was still cute and simple. And I got to wear shorts (which I pretty much never do), which was great since it's been really hot lately.
