outfit du jour: let's get lost

Whenever I put this outfit together I wanted to give it a bit of a 'hippy-playing-in-mom's closet' vibe because I *love* this dress and it's great vintage feel but it doesn't exactly fit into the style of dressing that I feel best in and am trying to be true to. (If you haven't read yet, I recently decided that since I feel most comfortable in '60s/'70s-inspired kind of free spirited outfits, I want to try to incorporate that into my style of dressing everyday.) However, I couldn't figure out what shoes to wear, so I put on my silver glitter pumps and since I now always feel the need to wear a hat or a headband, I decided to wear this feathered headband that I got for Christmas but hadn't worn yet. Anyway, in the end, this outfit seemed to take on a '60s/'70s/flapper kind of mixed-up vibe. Maybe I'm the only one who can see it. I think I like it though.

  1. Lovely outfit, it has a nice springy feel. The cape is a cool addition, I think capes are made for spring. Love Elliot Smith btw, thanks for sharing :)
