Thursdays are for Thrifters Link Party 35

Thursdays are for Thrifters is finally here again! I'm extra excited. Even though I haven't had a chance to do any thrifting lately, I decided to style a shirt (the white one with the faux-stitched aztec-y print) that I found in a Goodwill last year. I didn't know why I was immediately drawn to it at the time but now I know; it's because it's amazing. (Check out the close up of a little better idea of the print). I also bought these sunglasses last week for $1 (not thrifted, but kinda thrifted?). Anyway, I wasn't sure I'd like them but I fished them out of the 99 cents bowl (along with some bright pink nail polish in a heart shaped bottle) and lo and behold...I'm kinda in love with them. You know things are getting serious when you have an entire shoe box filled with sunglasses and you only want to wear one pair.

So, what've you guys got to share? It's been a while since our last thrifting link up and I can't wait to see your finds!

The Rules:

The rules for participating...
1. Be a follower of Brass in Pocket via Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin'. If you were a follower of Spunky Chateau, you're already good to go.
2. Submit your link below (next to that little blue frog-lookin' guy at the bottom of this post).Your links must be less than one week old at the time you post them and must include either photos of one or more thrifted finds OR an outfit post featuring at least one thrifted item. This link party will be open for one week. You may make multiple submissions.
3. Link back to this post for each submission you make (Your link may not be posted unless you include the URL in your blog post.)
4. Check back to see everyone's thrifted finds!

What I wore...This is kind of one of my many takes of incorporating a thrifted piece with some more current pieces:
Vintage White Shirt: Thrifted, $2.50., Sweater: Old Navy, $22., Black Jeans: Vanilla Star Jeans, $12., Pink Socks: Dollar Tree, $1 (obviously), Shoes: Fergie, $30 (seconds)., Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe, $1., Vintage Aigner Bag: Thrifted, $4.

I loved these sunglasses enough to wear them inside!

So let's see what you've found!
