outfit du jour: pass and fail

It rained all day yesterday (which I love) but it felt appropriate to wear a dark outfit. I ended up wearing these new F21 jeans I found for $5 with an old black camisole and this eggplant Calvin Klein sweater I thrifted in January. This sweater is one of many thrift store items I've bought a couple sizes too big. It looked interesting so I just threw it in the cart and when I tried it on, I knew it was the long sweater I'd been looking for since my black one finally bit the dust (aka made it into the Goodwill donations after I drug it to class everyday and it got all piled). I wanted to add a little pop of color to this outfit, so I wore my yellow wedge clown shoes, also thrifted. When I bought these, I had some momentary lapse in judgement that allowed me to convince myself they fit perfectly because I was dying for some wedges. But they're too big. So they're going back to Goodwill too.
