outfit du jour: burn to shine

I have to apologize for these night photos. I didn't get a chance to take them until after dark and since it gets dark so early these days, you'll probably be seeing more of them soon.

It's finally Everybody, Everywear day and the theme this month is sequins/shiny/sparkley or something like that. Considering I'm that-girl-who-loves-anything-sequined, you'd think this would be an easy challenge for me. But it wasn't. My sequined sweaters were dirty, so I decided to pull out this vintage maxi dress (which I think drew up a little bit) and add the shiny purse for some extra shine. It's kind of a weird combination, especially when you consider the shoes, but I actually kinda like this outfit. But of course I do...it's shiny!

And, don't forget to enter my Christmas Giveaway. More details can be found at the bottom of this post.

  7. Those shoes!!! I love a chunky heel. And what a steal for $5!!!
I just can't get enough of shopping at thrift stores. I'm starting to think people who spend $550 on a handbag have some sort of mental issues. No offense to them or anything, but goodness lol.
