outfit du jour: I'm not the one

Hope everybody had a good weekend! I'm joining in on Inspiration Monday at Two Birds again. I mainly took my inspiration from the flared pants covering the shoes and went from there, so this is kind of a loose interpretation of the inspiration look. I'm also going to link up to Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet because these pants definitely make me feel quite visible. I thrifted them earlier this year. They were paired with a dress made out of the exact same material, which I'm in love with. The dress comes pretty close to fitting...other than the fact that the bust is like 8 times too big and the rest of the dress is somewhat tight. But the pants...are a mess. I'm almost wondering if the dress/pants didn't belong to the same person...but maybe to a couple that really enjoyed matching. In other words, these might be men's pants. They definitely have some strange fit issues. But that's okay because they gave the silhouette I was hoping for in these photos. And just for that, I'm keeping them in my closet.

  13. That sounds like a classic case of 'men's pants'. Are there any buttons or zippers on it? You can always check that they go the 'wrong way' on men's stuff.
    Either way they are AWESOME.
