outfit du jour: eyes on the prize
Since I decided to dress semi-sensibly for the weather today, I thought I would venture out into the backyard and take a few photos for you. Plus, if we get the 1/2" of ice they predict we will tonight, I might not want to leave the house for the next week. I'm not really feeling pictures lately. Maybe it's that it's so cold I don't have the patience to take them because honestly, as soon as I get home all I want to do is put on my pajamas and crawl under the covers. I really need to live on the equator.
This coat makes me happy. I love the buttons with the anchors. I think it might actually be a man's coat but oh well. Coats are great; having to wear them because it's ten degrees is not so great.

Grey Sequined Beret: F21, $4. Yeah, I wore this hat two days in a row. Don't hate. I try not to do that but I have gotten into this habit of *always* wanting to wear a hat.
Earrings: Carole, Inc., set of three for $4. I actually wore the silver version of these earrings today. Not the gold ones, like I always seem to be wearing. And not the gunmetal ones in the picture. Silver, folks.
Silver Hammered Bracelet: I've had this forever. Don't ask me where it came from. I have a feeling it's Mix It Jewelry though, but I could be wrong.
Black and White Ring: Charlotte Russe, $4.
Owl Ring: Charlotte Russe, $4.
Silver Rhinestone Love Ring: Urban Outfitters, $10.
Black Vintage Bag: Thrifted, $3.
Shoes: Black Leather Converse, $50. I wore tennis shoes today! I hardly ever do but these are my favorites, basically the only ones I ever wear except for my little slip on ones.
Grey Sweater: Mossimo Supply Co., apx. $10.
Green Plaid Mock-Turtleneck: Charlotte Russe, $17.
Black Vintage Pea Coat: Secondhand, Gift.
Black Belt: Taken from a dress I bought at Charlotte Russe.
This coat makes me happy. I love the buttons with the anchors. I think it might actually be a man's coat but oh well. Coats are great; having to wear them because it's ten degrees is not so great.
