Thursdays are for Thrifters Link Party 23

Thursdays are for thrifters. Did you guys find anything exciting?

The Rules:

1. Be a follower of Spunky Chateau via Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin'.
2. Submit your link below (next to that little blue frog-lookin' guy at the bottom of this post). Your links must be less than one week old at the time you post them and must include either photos of one or more thrifted finds OR an outfit post featuring at least one thrifted item. This link party will be open for one week. You may make multiple submissions.
3. Link back to this post for each submission you make (Your link may not be posted unless you include the URL in your blog post.)
4. Check back to see everyone's thrifted finds!

I didn't get to do any thrifting this week, so I'm showing off a couple of older thrifted finds I love. It's finally cooled off enough here to break out coats and big sweaters, so I'm excited (even though I'm freezing). Decided to wear this amazing vintage crocheted shawl thing I got for 50 cents. And this perfect scarf. I think it was $1. Also, this is a weird picture, I know, but I like it for some reason. I look like a combination of the mean old lady next door and the crazy cat lady down the street. Exactly how I want to look when it's 40 degrees outside and I'd rather just sit home with my cat than be bothered.

Vintage Dress: Secondhand, Gift. Tights: Betsey Johnson, Gift. Turtleneck: Mossimo, apx. $7., Boots: Nine West, $30., Vintage Handmade Shawl: Thrifted, 50 cents., Handmade Scarf: Thrifted, $1., Belt: Old Navy, $4.

  5. I haven't done any thrifting for a couple of weeks (but I am going this weekend!) so I'm showcasing yesterday's hot pink thrifted dress. It is, by far, my best one dollar find.

  6. You look like the Vogue version of a cat-lady though. I wouldn't be surprised to see a label underneath telling me everything you owned cost more than my rent last month.
    Crocheted sweater! Awesome!

  13. Meagan, You are a vintagely stylish mean cat neighbor lady! There's something to be said for non-smiling photos. One of my daughters favorites from her junior prom was one of her and a friend standing back to back while staring menacingly into the camera. It's a great fun pic! On another note, I have days I wouldn't mind just staying home reading on the couch with my house cats. Debbie http://thriftygirlvintage.com

  20. I feel bad for not linking-up recently but I haven't had a lot of time to thrift and even though almost all my clothes are from the consignment shop I work at...I don't know, I feel like that's cheating, ha!
BUT, partially inspired by your link-ups I started my own with the Best Form of Flattery inspiration photo series - I hope you'll join in, it's open for a full week (Sun to Sun)
