outfit du jour: fools

Ever since I saw Elaine over at Clothed Much wearing her gorgeous crown braid, I've wanted to try one. Problem is, I'm hair styling challenged. I mean, it took me forever to get the hang of a regular braid and forget french braiding. I just can't do it. So I thought I'd never be able to do a crown braid...which is why I'm so proud that yesterday I did...sort of. This is actually a Heidi braid. It doesn't meet in the back, but maybe I'll figure out how to do that one day.

    When I see pics like this I want to have lots of hair, and LONG LONG hair, but alas that is not me...but I just sooooooooooo love those braids. They look awesome and cute. Perfect for the dress as well :)

    I've been trying to do braid-y shit to my hair as well and I always just get frustrated and leave it down as always. Sigh. Yours looks real cute though! Congrats! haha. Love the shoes and the pretty pink of your dress!
