t-shirt tuesday...outfit du jour: almost forgot myself

Part of the reason I started blogging was that I wanted to show people how it was possible to wear things you love everyday. Well, today was not one of those day I wore something I loved and I almost always do. Today I loved all the individual components of my outfit, and I kinda-sorta liked it as I put it together. I kept trying to convince myself, but in the end I feel like it kinda fell flat.

But anyway, today is t-shirt Tuesday, so I wore a t-shirt (I have so many that I usually only wear as pajamas and I'm trying to incorporate them into real outfits, if you missed last week's post). I paired this Dead Weather t-shirt with a skirt I got at Charlotte Russe for just $3.

Skirt: Charlotte Russe, $3.

Herringbone Tights: Betsey Johnson, Gift.

Dead Weather T-Shirt: apx. $20.

Black Sweater: Old Navy, apx. $20.

Black Hat: Urban Outfitters, $5.

I Choose Peace Pin: Thrifted, $.25.
97 Wave pin: Gift.
Waffle House pin: Gift.

Black Earrings: from Rugged Wearhouse, $2.

Vintage Spoon Ring: Gift.

Vintage Bag (ignore the hat and sunglasses in the picture, sorry): Thrifted, apx. $2.

Black Booties: Betsey Johnson, $60.
