outfit du jour: I want you to want me

Sorry to have missed Friday's post, ya'll. I was super busy with two of my best gals, Paula and Abby, hearing the amazing Over the Rhine play, drinking coffee, eating hot browns, eating krispy kremes and watching the AARP crowd get jiggy with it at my new favorite bar. (Yeah, I just used the term 'jiggy with it', so there's your proof I've really been doing what I say I have.) Check out the picture at the bottom of the post. We totally look like we belong in a country girl band.

Today I celebrated Presidents' Day the way that any good American should...by sleeping in late, going to Pizza Hut and wearing my Cheap Trick T-Shirt. I also put together a tie-dyed nail polish tutorial for you guys but I think I'll save it 'til a little later in the week. See picture two for an idea of what it'll look like.

Jeans: Tyte Jeans, $20.
Pink Cheap Trick T-Shirt: from Rugged Wearhouse, apx. $3.
Leopard Print Sweater: F21, apx. $15.
Vintage Sunglasses: Thrifted, $3.
Vintage Hat: Thrifted, apx. $7.
Vintage Bag: Borrowed from the Spunky Chateau store. That's right, this very bag could be yours when I put it back in the store soon.

Glitter Pumps: Bonnebelle, apx. $10.

Country girl band. Name? Undecided. If you can think of a good one, let me know. I plan on playing the tambourine. Paula's going to play the banjo and Abby's going to play fiddle. I just haven't told them yet.
