I generally believe that white tights are only acceptable when paired with a french maid costume or something like that. But I wanted to wear them with this little black babydoll dress because really, nothing else seemed to work and I just happened to have a pair because I was Magenta from Rocky Horror for Halloween a few years ago. So, I paired them with my sweet little Mary Jane's that I can't ever bring myself to get rid of but have had forever, threw on this cream coat that is really too big and felt pretty good about it.
Dress: I have no idea what brand it is. I got it at Value City like four years ago, $10.
Wanted you to see the dress a little more clearly...
Fur details...
Cream Coat: Secondhand; too big. The inside is starting to deteriorate but it's still a beautiful coat, perfectly wearable and in good condition otherwise. It has a few pin sized holes but the size makes it a little hard for me to wear too often and I'm not sure if there's a way to deal with the deterioration inside, which is why it's for sale in my Vintage Store.
Earrings: Betsey Johnson, Gift.
Bracelet: Betsey Johnson, Gift.
Leopard Print Heart Ring: Betsey Johnson, Gift.
Skull Ring: I've had this forever; I got it at Fashion Shop years ago, apx. $5.
Silver Ring: Gift.
Black Vintage Bag: Thrifted, $3.
Black Mary Jane's: ;), apx. $20.

I like the white tights look! I know that several people have been trying it out, and it doesn't look nursey at all! It looks cute!
ReplyDeleteIf you really love the coat, take it to a tailor- they might be able to fit it to you better.
