outfit du jour: the good old days

I used to think that mixing prints was a terrible idea; I've reneged though. It turns out mixing prints is a fantastic thing to do, as long as you don't act shy about it. The bolder, the better.

Appearantly people like these weird close ups I've been doing, so whatever. We all know I take pictures of myself. (Hey, I know you do it too.)

These tights are much redder in person.

Black, Red, White and Green Patterned Skirt: Charlotte Russe, apx. $4.
Black Sweater: Mossimo Supply Co., apx. $10.
Crocheted Sweater: Handmade, Thrifted, $6.
I keep forgetting to take a photo of this elephant necklace. It's from Charlotte Russe, $4.

Khaki and Black Fedora: from JCPenney's, $12.

Gold Earrings: Carole, Inc., set of three for $4. I almost didn't buy these earrings at first because I used to be really into dangley earrings. I wouldn't wear posts in a million years. But I *almost* always wear posts now because they're so much more versatile. Someday soon I'll take a picture as evidence that I did, in fact, used to be a dangley-earrings-only kinda girl.

White Necklace: Thrifted, apx. $3.

Gold Plastic Ring: F21, $3.

Black Vintage Polaroid Camera Case carried as a Purse: Secondhand, Gift.

Tan Boots: Nine West, $30.
