Outfit du Jour: Trouble

I thrifted this oversized '90s sweater about a month ago, and everyone I showed it to thought it was horrendous. It kind of is, but that's what's so great about it. It's so bold. I loved wearing it with gaudy jewelry today but i think it's going to work even better during the holidays with leggings and some kind of boots. I figured today that if I were going to try to wear it, I needed to go all out; so, you won't see any dainty jewelry here. I think I might try to carry it with a red purse next time. I love that even though it's so bold, I can still think of several ways to wear it. And guess what? Those same people who didn't like it when I bought it (you know who you are...), they liked it today! Imagine that.

Necklace: Thrifted, $2.75.

  1. What a great purse for $3! Score! While the sweater's print is not something I can pull off, I really like the drape of it. It's chic-ly oversized in that "I'm so cool and I buy everything 5 sizes too big" kind of way. Ya know?

  4. That sweat is ugly, but you really did make it work! I really believe almost anything can look good if you wear it with the right accessories and all. I love that over the shoulder bag as well. And I see you shop at Rugged Warehouse. I've found some awesome things there.
