outfit du jour: the right place

I thrifted this little dress a couple months ago and have been holding onto it. It's nothing too special-just one of the elastic waisted, t-shirt type that have been popular in stores for a couple years now but I liked the shape of the bottom of this one (still not sure if it's black or navy blue, I think black, sadly) and it fit pretty perfectly so I thought it was worth $4. I figure I'll probably wear it with a jacket most of the time because I don't like sleeves this short, but yesterday the heat index was 116, so I couldn't stand to wear the jacket even for just a few minutes taking photos.

    Sounds like we have the same weather issues--it's been hot as all get out here! I love that dress, and I think it looks great without the jacket!
