Pretty simple outfit today. Just wore this to get lunch and since it's already kinda late I'm not going to bog you down with tons of accessory photos. I'll wait 'til Monday for that. I was crazy about these pants I picked up at Goodwill a few weeks ago but they didn't fit so I was going to sell them. I tried them on again today...and they fit! I'm pretty excited cause I love them. They're brown and kinda like crushed velvet feel-ing. I hope that makes sense.
Pants: Thrifted, $3., Chevron Patterned Sweater: from JCPenney's, apx. $20., Black Sweater: Old Navy, $20. Vintage Bag: Thrifted, $3. Cross Necklace: Handmade, Gift. Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters, $10.
I broke these sunglasses, my favorite pair, right after this picture. Not sure how I'm going to get over it...
You've got a kitty helper, too! Aren't they the best? I like pants with that kind of texture. They're soft so you're dressed nice but with comfy pants on. Congrats on Thursdays for Thrifters getting so popular you are going to start providing a link-up. Nice.
Thank you for your lovely comment dear..really lovely combination, love your hair and the sun glasses are beyond amazing plus I love the strokes too ;)xx
Aw! That stinks about your sunglasses! But maybe you can find an even better pair!:D
I left my favorite pair EVER at rest stop while I was on my trip. They were ModCloth (which is enough to make them special) but on top of it they were a gift from my big sister when I had my six-month-blog-o-versary which made them sooo special! And on top of it even my brother told me he liked them (:O). I was so upset. I ordered new ones as soon as we got to the motel.
The Parthenon was a ton of fun. I wish you could have seen my sister! She's a total history geek. She was wondering around in a fog gawking at all the stuff. :D
Love the outfit though - and great to hear that you fit the trousers and don't have to throw them out...send some of that trouser fitting love my way ;)
Back again but this time I'm spreading a little blog love around today. I was given the Blogger Luxury Award by Joandy of My Style by Joandy and I am now passing the award on to you! I'm not sure where the Luxury Blogger Award originated, but to me living below your means is a luxury because it's nice to have things you love without being stressed over how you're going to pay for them. You can find the rules for passing the award along on my post today, http://thriftygirlvintage.blogspot.com/2011/05/blogger-luxury-award-and-fifteen-frugal.html.
